ECoR has decided to run two hundred special trains during Nabakalebara 2015 to meet the rush of pilgrims. The trains will operate for ten days, starting to the day of the Rath Yatra to the day of Sandhya darshan.

The Odisha government will install giant LED screens at more than 20 locations in Puri for live telecast of this year’s Nabakalebara festival. The move is aimed at dispersing crowds from the vicinity of Jagannath Temple and Grand Road.

The state government has decided to offer free transport service to pilgrims from the newly constructed bus terminus at Malatipatpur to Puri during the Nabakalebara festival scheduled in July. The government has made a budgetary provision of Rs 40 lakh for the free transport service.
